Thanks to the use of its own operating structures and resources and to partnerships with important international suppliers, STE energy is able to offer its customers the right technological solution with the best performance, product reliability and general cost-efficiency for the solution implemented.

STE energy supplies, installs and commissions:

• Pelton, Francis, Kaplan and Cross Flow turbines

STE energy has partnerships and also actively participates in designing, building and selling turbines and generators for applications on by-passes with low and very low rated heads up to 1 MW. STE energy has contributed to the development of said technology, which has a very low impact on the environment and does not require any additional civil engineering works.

STE energy has consolidated experience in building water lifting systems by designing, supplying and installing:

• civil engineering works, penstocks and mass oscillation and pressure surge control systems
• draining pumps and centrifugal pumps
• automation, protection, control and remote management systems
• electric power systems and power centres (star-delta start-up systems, soft starters, inverters, etc.)

STE energy is able to offer its customers the right technological solution with the best performance, product reliability and general cost-efficiency for the solution implemented for electric generators of different types and sizes.
Thanks to the specific know-how of its in-house resources and frequent collaboration with universities and international research centres, STE energy performs studies on the transients and power fluxes of its installations in order to increasingly adapt them to the most different conditions of the electric transmission and distribution networks and to the different types of hydraulic turbines.

STE energy supplies, installs and commissions:

• synchronous generators
• voltage regulators (AVR) of various kinds
• asynchronous generators with relevant re-phasing system
• variable speed generators with inverter systems
• permanent magnet generators with power factor control systems
• complete speed regulators for operation in isolated networks

Through its own operating structures and the synergy between its resources and external partners, STE energy is able to design and implement mechanical and hydraulic cut-off systems for hydropower plants.

Specifically, STE energy supplies, installs, automates and commissions the following products:

• ball valves, butterfly valves and rotary valves
• sluice gates, sector gates, flap gates (clapets) and planks
• screen rakes and screens
• special mechanical structures (bascule bridges, grappling beams, etc.)

In partnership with international builders and working with highly specialised workshops, STE energy builds hydraulic turbines destined to national and international markets in addition to designing and building metal structures for special hydraulic applications (aspirators, conduits, sluice gates and hydraulic cut-off systems).
